Fiery Shana

This was something I did in my senior year in High School in my Art class. The project was make 4 layers, make them like pages, have them all different, cut out parts with a knife, so when you put them together it looks something like this. 2 of the layers I did anime themed ones, my other themed layer (Sailor Moon) isn't shown here (looked alot better without it).
It was alot of fun to cut out all the different parts, but I ended up getting really carried away with it. So now the whole thing (expecially that red swirly layer) is really fragile and can tear easily...
Coloring wise, to avoid tearing the fragile cut paper (which I was dumber NOT to color it first before cutting) I used markers. That way I could lots of color on the paper without tearing it. For the detail on Shana's uniform I used colored pencils.

Also....NONE of this has been photoshopped. This was all done by hand. The only photoshopping done here was to make the picture smaller (the scanner scanned it way too big).
